Karl Spock, Senior Associate

Karl Spock specializes in program evaluation, management consulting, state policy development, data analysis, and communication services. Mr. Spock’s experience includes nearly 25 years of assisting legislative organizations and private companies in addressing financial and public policy issues. Before consulting, Mr. Spock worked as a senior analyst and assistant director for the Texas Sunset Commission, a legislative agency, where he either led teams or supervised multiple teams analyzing state policy. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst for the state’s Legislative Budget Board, as staff of an advisory commission to the Texas governor, and he served in the Peace Corps. Mr. Spock is a mediator trained in certified mediation course(s) in compliance with Texas law, and has served as a mediator and group facilitator in a variety of settings. He holds a Master’s degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
